We are committed to engaging with the East Gippsland community and all interested parties to ensure that they are informed and that any concerns are acknowledged and addressed.
We strive to be timely and transparent in the provision of information to the community.
From the inception of the project exploration to the present day, we have consistently engaged with all stakeholders openly and honestly.
Together with the community, we are looking forward to finalising the Environment Effects Statement (EES) process for the project.
The EES, which provides a thorough scientific assessment of the project based on factual evidence, became available for public review in September-October 2020 and community members were able to make submissions during this time. Currently, the Inquiry and Advisory (IAC) Committee is hearing in person from many of those submitters. The EES remains available for viewing on our website.
We continue to remain respectful and responsive to the concerns in the community about the potential impact of the project as we follow the EES process.
