In this bulletin you can read about:
Today Kalbar Operations announced the appointment of two new members to the Executive Team.
Joining us in July 2020 to take the role of Chief Financial Officer will be Cameron Knox. Cameron brings 15+ years of experience in senior finance roles, predominantly in the mining and resource sector with global mining and resource projects.
John Francisco joined Kalbar as Project Director on 1 June 2020. John brings 30+ years of experience in the mining industry, having held project, operational and maintenance management roles with a number of gold and mineral sands mining operations across Australia, Central and West Africa and Papua New Guinea. He has a strong track record in early stage start-up of mining projects.
The depth of industry experience that both Cameron and John bring to the team will be invaluable and we welcome their contribution as we focus on the final stages of the EES process.
As mentioned in our May Bulletin, we anticipate that some social restrictions and distancing rules will remain in place during the EES public exhibition which may restrict access to EES hard copies that would typically be available for viewing at designated public locations.
We are offering several options to share the documentation. We can provide:
USB
Laptop hire
Hard copy
Information Kit
To ensure we can meet your needs to access the EES, we are calling for Expressions of Interest to be submitted by Friday 26 June to provide you with the information you need.
Expressions of Interest for these special arrangements can be submitted by:
All Expressions of Interest submitted must provide the following detail:
NOTE: Requests for EES Information Kits do not have a deadline and will be available throughout the EES public exhibition period and beyond.
As mentioned in our previous Bulletin, we will be holding a webinar to allow community members to discuss the EES Key Findings with Kalbar personnel and technical consultants. The webinar is in lieu of holding a community drop-in session as we adhere to COVID-19 restrictions.
The webinar will be moderated by an independent facilitator, and the event will be recorded, together with the questions raised, and answers, and uploaded to the Fingerboards Project website within seven days.
We are now inviting registrations for any community members who would like to participate in the EES Key Findings webinar. We are also requesting that any questions applicable to the EES Key Findings be submitted prior to the webinar so we can aim to provide answers as part of the presentation. Time permitting, we will also be able to accept relevant questions during the webinar via the chat facility and answers will be published.
If you are not able to attend the webinar, we will still accept your questions and the answers will be published on the Fingerboards Project website.
