The Kalbar team would like to thank everyone who participated in the EES Specialist Studies Q&A webinar last Wednesday 14 October 2020.
We had 45 participants take part, including interested community members, business and government representatives.
The webinar was recorded and is now posted on the Fingerboards Project website https://www.fingerboardsproject.com.au/news/ees-specialist-q-and-a-webinar-october-14-2020
About 20 questions were received during the webinar, including many which were submitted prior to the webinar and which guided us on the selection of topics to cover during the webinar.
Due to time constraints, not all of the questions were able to be answered on the night, however written answers have been provided to all questions asked. The Q&A document recording all the questions and answers is now uploaded to the Fingerboards website and can be found here.
Some of the questions asked were on different EES topics than those addressed during the webinar. Those questions and answers have also been included in the Q&A document.
The Fingerboards project EES public exhibition commenced on Thursday 3 September 2020 for 40 business days.
There is a week left for community members, businesses and community groups to make submissions and we remind everyone that public exhibition will close next Thursday 29 October 2020 at 5 pm.
We look forward to the public assessment process and we are confident that the Fingerboards project can meet all environmental standards and create much-needed jobs for the region.
Details on how to make a submission are provided on-line at https://www.engage.vic.gov.au/fingerboards-IAC.
